Twin Nose - Twin Nose decks are completely symmetrical, meaning both front and back kicks are the exact same size, shape and angle.
Construction
FLIGHT™ - FLIGHT™ decks are stronger, thinner and lighter than a 7-ply. You'll get the feel of it in an hour or two and begin to realize you can do things riding a Flight deck that cannot be done on a 7-ply. Flight decks allow you to extend your limits, because they let you ollie higher, flip faster, do tricks more easily, and they don't break in two like a 7-ply.
All Powell FLIGHT™ decks are made at their factory located in Santa Barbara, California.

301 Shape - Nose and tail are wide and stubbed for predictable pop and comfortable footing and flicking. Deck is symmetrical and has egged rails for chip evasion when hitting the ground.

Powell Peralta Andy Anderson Heron's Egg 8.7 Flight Skateboard Deck
I've been skating mostly symmetrical 8.25 popsicle shapes with the squarest noses I could find for over 15 years and my setup was pretty set in stone. That being said I'm getting older and heavier and after trying bigger popsicle shapes, I decided to take a chance and try this board.
The result: I think I will be skating this shape for as long as Powell keeps making it. It has the stability of an 8.75 while having the controllability and nimbleness of an 8.25. The slight egg shape provides greater surface area that makes landing tricks consistently that much easier, the pockets are perfectly placed for flip tricks, and the squared off nose and tail are responsive in all the right ways.
Overall, it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into this board and I'm glad that I get to enjoy the result so much.

This is my favorite deck. I like flight decks and I've been really getting into symmetrical egg shapes lately so, this is the perfect deck for me. I'll be buying another one soon.

Steep price but overall great deck, does an amazing job of feeling like a smaller deck when it’s actually bigger, great for tall people. Idk if i would buy it again but if i haddalot of money is definitely stick to this shape, had it for a bit and it’s holding up great so maybe even with my finances i i i’ll stick to it if it lasts longer!!

Andy Anderson + George Powell are a force to be reckoned with... When you hear Andy talk about the technicals of the deck, you realize how much thought was put into making it, and it shows. This was also my first Tactics purchase and the overall experience was awesome. The price was great, shipping was super fast and the videos they have on all the different components are super helpful in deciding on what to buy.
