The McGill Skull & Snake 10.0 skateboard deck from Powell Peralta. With the construction of so many new skate parks in recent years, there has been a growing demand for classic shapes and graphics. Although the graphics often come from yester-year, these decks are no wallhangers.

Deck Type

Traditional 7-Ply - Traditional for a reason. Standard 7-ply wood construction gives you a deck that's durable, sturdy and poppy without breaking the bank.

Deck Construction

Powell-Peralta Construction - Powell designed and fabricated AirLam low pressure air bladder presses are used to laminate 7 plies of the finest grade American, hard rock maple, with high strength, water resistant glue.

Each deck is then sealed against moisture with a water base acrylic semi-gloss finish. Powell-Peralta decks are precisely controlled in thickness for optimum performance and protect against de-lamination for the useful life of the deck.

Deck Concave

SP3 - Spoon Nose III, a reissue of the classic Powell-Peralta golden age mold, they made the original Bone Brigade’s decks from. A spoon nose kick tail with slight concave on the kick tail intended for making 10" x 30" style decks. Maximum wheel base—17.25 inches. Non-symmetrical nose to tail.

Asked by Dave on 2/14/2018
what size indys would match this deck? 169 or 215?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 2/15/2018
The 169's will be a little smaller than the width of the deck but will have more of a traditional feel with turning and grinding. If you get the 215's they will be the same width as the board but do have a much different feel to them when turning due to the much wider turning radius. Either will work and it kind of boils down to personal preference at this point.

If i purchase deck with “appy grip for me” do u cut out middle to show design?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 10/19/2017
No unfortunately we do not do any custom grip jobs and if you would like to have the middle cut out you would need to select that you will grip it yourself.

Is it flat like the old school boards or does it have concave? And does it have the cut outs to prevent wheel bite?
Answered by James S (Tactics Employee) on 4/10/2017
This board has a modern style of concave and it does have the cut outs for your wheels.
