Key Features

Stay Positive Camber - For the last 30 years or so, there have been a group of riders who demand positive camber to fuel their snowboarding. This group includes most team riders, shop owners, 100-day locals and many of the people at Rome. The reason they demand positive camber is for the unmatched pop and response that it gives a snowboard. Whether you are railing turns, ollieing off the lip of a jump, or stomping a landing, many riders think there is no better shape to have under foot. Great for riding everything with power.

Pop Core Matrix - A smooth, dynamically-flexing poplar matrix with zones of low-density wood for high response with low weight. Providing the kick for most of the boards in the Rome line.

StraightBiax Laminate - Arming the bulk of their pure freestyle boards, this playful, forgiving laminate definitely leans towards the flex side of the Flex with Pop spectrum. Perfect for a life of jumping pressing, buttering and generally having creative fun. Also targeted to the easy cruising boards.

Hotrods: Bamboo Single Barrel - A thin rod of snappy bamboo for added pop.

Basalt Impact Plates - Basalt Impact Plates deliver anti-compression strength under your bindings at a lighter weight and with a more even flex.

SinterTrue Base - A combination of wax absorption and abrasion resistance results in gap clearing speed with solid amounts of strength.

The Hype

Transworld Good Wood Award Winner - Selected as a Good Wood winner by Transworld Magazine - chosen for quality snowboard construction and rideability.

Impact Edges - Impact Edges have a little more width and height for taking the abuse that park to peak freestyle riding can put on a board. Get more extended play on boxes, tree bonks, and those unplanned impacts with rock sharks.

Rebound Sidewalls - An elastic sidewall compound that absorbs impacts for greater strength.
