Adjustable Boa® 360 Fit System - Features a 360º halo design which allows for ergonomical contouring, vertical adjustability, improved airflow and on-the-fly adjustability.
Aerocore™ Technology featuring Koroyd® - Aerocore™ Technology is a tubular core structure, patented worldwide and manufactured in Germany. Koroyd® is not just an evolution of product; it is by definition a revolution in protection material.
Koroyd® creates a 30% reduction in energy transmission, absorbing more energy from an impact when tested to international standards. In addition, it creates a dramatic increase of airflow without compromising safety or performance and is a green material, made from a polymer, which can be recycled for use in future products.
AirEvac 2 Ventilation: Constant Airflow - AirEvac 2 continues to drive the warm air away from the goggle through external vents and internal channels in the EPS liner. Internal airflow can be adjusted through the helmet's regulator climate control system.
Lightweight In-Mold Construction - The performance standard for many years, In-Mold construction creates a lightweight helmet with an EPS liner to maximize protection and comfort.

Airflow Climate Control - Airflow ventilation utilizes strategically placed vents for easy climate control in all conditions. Vent placement maximizes airflow and heat exhaustion in warm temperatures while minimizing undesired cold air drafts. Fabric flaps in the lining design on certain models allow you to open and close the airflow vents for adjustable comfort.
6 Vents - 6 vents strategically placed throughout the helmet for superior air circulation and premium breathability. Tested and proven by Smith for optimum comfort and performance.
Removable Goggle Lock - A removable goggle lock makes your Smith helmet work great all year round for sports that don't always require goggles. Snow, skate or bike, Smith covers all the bases.
Fixed Venting - Fixed venting means that air circulates throughout your helmet through non-adjustable vents.
ASTM F2040 Certified (USA - Snow) - Meets the certification standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials to withstand a single high impact in non-motorized recreational snow sports such as snowboarding and skiing. Not designed to withstand multiple high impacts.
CE EN 1077:2007 B Certified (Europe - Snow) - Meets the current European certification standards to withstand a single high impact and a variety of puncture impacts in non-motorized recreational snow sports such as snowboarding and skiing.
MIPS Technology - The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) separates the shell of the helmet from the liner via a low-friction layer. When the helmet experiences an angled impact, the low-friction layer allows the helmet to slide relative to the head. This action dramatically reduces the rotational force from an angled impact and decreases brain damage.
