Baseplate Style

Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant compared to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forging also eliminates the most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.

Axle/Kingpin Style

Hollow Axle & Kingpin - Hollow axle trucks cut down on the materials used in the axle, so your trucks feel lighter. Hollow kingpins further reduce weight while still maintaining strength in this critical area.

Origin

Made in the USA - Made in San Francisco, California

Non-Compatible Risers

Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.

Arbor, Diamond, Dooks, Girl, Independent, Loaded, Paris, Rayne, Sector 9

Thunder Hollow Lights Skateboard Trucks - polished hollow lights ii (148)
I’ve always skated indies but I wanted to try something else and so far I’m really enjoying them. I swapped out the bushing with bones mediums so cannot speak to the bushings and break in time.

Thunder Hollow Lights Skateboard Trucks
I was die hard Indy for like 10 years. I tried other trucks periodically, but always went back. I got these and took the bottom washer out, they turn just as well. I ran a 1/16th riser for a while but I’m anti-risers so took them out eventually and just got used to the height. I don’t think I’ll go back to independent now. Every time I ride my other setup with Indy’s it feels dead, like these make my board feel so much more crisp. I can’t explain it, you just gotta feel it for yourself

Asked by Hugo on 8/20/2017
I usually ride 8.25 but occasionally will step down to 8.1. Will the 147's work for me ??
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 8/24/2017
The 147s would work fine or the 148s, the trucks would just stick out the smallest amount on each side with an 8.1.
