Known for being lightweight and durable, the Thunder Hollow Lights Skateboard Trucks reduce weight without sacrificing strength. With the same quick turn response, these trucks feature a hollow axle and kingpin with forged baseplates that provide more strength and impact resistance than cast baseplates. Sold as a set of two in multiple axle sizes.

Axle/Kingpin Style
Hollow Axle & Kingpin - Hollow axle trucks cut down on the materials used in the axle, so your trucks feel lighter. Hollow kingpins further reduce weight while still maintaining strength in this critical area.
Baseplate Style
Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant compared to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forging also eliminates the most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.
Non-Compatible Risers
Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.
Note - Every skate truck brand represents their sizing a little differently, so it's easy to get confused. Take a look at this graphic and then reference the size chart.
didn't think I was going to like these. but they really work for this deck. I usually would pick indies. but they just tend to be a little heavier. Thunders are an excellent product!
I cheaped out and bought the cheaper option of the hollow lights and gotta say theyre just as good as the new versions. Save a buck and grab these before getting the latest set theyre just as good!
instead of listing the BOARD RANGE nonsense why not just disclose the exact number of inches wide that a 148 mm truck axle is ? people size things differently and not all skaters are morons lol - it would be useful info to have in the description

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out! A 148 is 8.25 axle, as you can see at the top of the page when selecting the trucks before adding them to cart. The size range is just what boards they will fit on!

I usually ride 8.25 but occasionally will step down to 8.1. Will the 147's work for me ??

The 147s would work fine or the 148s, the trucks would just stick out the smallest amount on each side with an 8.1.
