The Checko is back and better than ever with impact resistant polycarbonate lenses and an ultra durable nylon grilamid frame. The polarized Wildlife Lenses enhance the clarity of your vision while reducing glare and protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. The four lens design, provides you with superior peripheral vision and the RGNS System offers all day, slip-free comfort. Plus, they're handcrafted in Italy, so you know you're getting some top quality shades.
6 Base Curvature - The base curvature corresponds to the curve of the lens. The higher the number, the higher the curve. 6 base styles have a “flatter” look. 8-9 base curves hug closer to the face.
Nylon Grilamid - These frames are borne from tempered steel molds. Grilamid nylon is flexible in all temperatures, shatter resistant, and possesses a high “memory” to ensure the frame retains its shape and fit.
Polycarbonate - UV400 protection lurks beneath the dark exterior of these lenses. Their polycarbonate lenses are distortion-free, optically correct and have maximum scratch and shatter resistance. These lenses are available in grey, bronze, fashion gradients and chrome coatings.
Wildlife Polarized Lenses - Wildlife Lens Technology blocks 99.9% of the HEV light, which causes fatigue, strain and damages the long term health of your eyes. They balance out the exact amount of light you need in each color by cutting out all the bad stuff and absorbing all the awesome, healthy stuff. VZ also added an infused polarizing filter to eliminate glare and haze caused by reflected light off water, windshields and wristwatches. The result is a boost of true color, clarity and an enhanced visual experience!
100% UV Protection - To protect your eyes from those harmful rays these lenses feature 100% UV protection.
Pop n' Lock Cam Hinges - Corrosion-free hinges with maximum flexibility.
RGNS System - The Rip Grip No Slip (RGNS) system ensures your shades stay firmly on your face with the help of rubber nose pads and temple tips.
Pro Tip - Are polarized sunglasses better? Are they worth the price?
In many cases, yes. All sunglasses reduce brightness and block some amount of harmful UV rays. However, only polarized sunglasses are scientifically constructed to eliminate glare. Not just reduce it, but eliminate it. Polarized sunglasses are ideal for driving, where you get glare from your dash, your windshield and other vehicles. They perform much better than standard sunglasses – reducing eye strain and helping you see better – around water, snow, sand or any other reflective surroundings.
