Sole

Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Material Tech

Rubber Backing - Added durability thanks to the rubber backed upper material, the rubber layer is applied to the back of the outer material to enhance durability and extend the life of the upper, these shoes are tough.

Details

Cons Traction Rubber - Converse maintains their iconic outsole and has updated their classic Converse vulcanized rubber compound to increase board traction for today's skateboarder and offers 70% increased griptape traction.

CX Foam Sockliner - This highly absorbent CX foam made from molded polyurethane (PU) provides comfort and cushioning that will keep its shape and never pack-out giving you lasting protection.

Converse Fastbreak Pro Skate Shoes - black/white/gum
Love them! Usually wear a 8.5/9, but ordered these in an 8 (also my size for Chucks). Tactics video review on YouTube and Q&A section on the product page helped me a LOT on the sizing. Thank you Tactics!

I have a lot to complain about

Converse Fastbreak Pro Skate Shoes
I started skating these right after the Jack Purcell- Jake Johnson's. These lacked boardfeel right out of the gate in comparison and as a result (with some bad luck added) I rolled my ankle pretty bad... also the nylon dosen't hold up that great, ripped through it after a couple sessions. Also the tounge is uncomfortable (it digs into my foot leaving an indent after every sesh) and the laces it comes with are too short to lace them all the way up.
That being said I like the way they look...but once my ankle heals up (it's been 5 weeks I'm almost healed) I'm going back to skating in Jack Purcell mid's or ctas hi's.

Converse Fastbreak Pro Skate Shoes - white/deep emerald/gum
Took a second to break in but after that, the board feel is great and the flick and support are also very good on this shoe. Can’t beat how it looks either!
