The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel XT skate shoes bring Nike's latest innovation in board feel to the timeless upper you've been skating for years, now with a rubber toe cap for more flicks without the blowout. Hyperfeel technology allows the sole of the shoe to move naturally with your foot for the most precise board control yet to be felt in a cupsole. Another addition is an internal bootie that locks down your heel to prevent slippage. Contrary to popular opinion, even classics can be improved upon. The only thing left is for you to get a pair on your feet.
  • Cupsole
  • Herringbone Tread
  • Hyperfeel Technology
  • Low-Profile Design
  • Lunarlon Cushioning
  • Combination Molded Sockliner Improves Board Feel
  • Thin Web Rubber Outsole Enhances Flexibility
  • Perforations on Side Increase Ventilation
  • Forefoot Sidewall is Engineered for Enhanced Flick

Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Herringbone Tread - The herringbone pattern is frequently used in basketball shoes for its ability to provide optimal traction on smooth surfaces.

Hyperfeel Technology - Nike Hyperfeel allows the shoe to move naturally with the foot by using fewer total layers than a traditional shoe construction. A responsive drop-in insole is placed directly over an ultra-thin, highly flexible outsole, resulting in a natural motion sensation and precise board feel.

Low-Profile Design - Designed for an anatomically correct, contoured fit.

Lunarlon Cushioning - Lunarlon cushioning features a soft, yet resilient foam core encased within a supportive foam carrier for lightweight, ultra-plush cushioning, springy response and support.

This innovative foam, invented at Nike and 30% lighter than traditional Phylon, allows the force of an impact to be more evenly distributed and helps reduce painful pressure points on your foot.

Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel XT Skate Shoes
Improved Janowski that is better to skate in than the regular ones. Toecap is nice, has nice padding on the collar and straps to keep the tongue in place. Locks down your foot and the toecap helps with durability. Get the hyperfeel XT's over the regular hyperfeels, they are more durable and can take more wear and tear. Tactics' description above basically sums them up.

can you guys get pretty specific about the black mesh? is it mesh or a texture? i'm wondering if it'll blow out and start to unravel once it gets scratched up.
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 6/20/2017
For the "anthracite/black" color, the mesh would not hold up to any skating. Get that style and color if you need something that is breathable to walk around in, and chill, or even mellow cruising on a board. Would not recommend doing any real skating in these, an ollie or two would probably destroy the mesh pretty fast.

What is the material on the ANTHRACITE/BLACK color? It doesn't look like regular suede
Answered by Danny M (Tactics Employee) on 2/23/2017
The anthracite/black one is made of a thick canvas mesh material.
