This remastered Janoski is made with eco-friendly Flyleather and Nike Grind materials, meaning the shoe is made with over 75% recycled textiles. The cutting-edge manufacturing process of Flyleather makes the shoe lightweight and five times more abrasion resistant than standard suede, and the Nike Grind gum outsole and foxing tape is made of recycled shoes. And when you're done skating the shoes, recycle them and put them back into circulation.

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. These don't provide as much foot protection as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.
Auxetic Midsole Design - The midsole is designed with geometric shapes that expand and contract in all directions, allowing equal pressure dispersal throughout each step, and giving added flexibility.
Decreased Rubber in Outsole - Less rubber means less weight, and this outsole also happens to feature a skate specific tread pattern for more flexibility and traction.
Herringbone Tread - The herringbone pattern is frequently used in basketball shoes for its ability to provide optimal traction on smooth surfaces.
Nike Grind Rubber - Nike Grind materials are created from Nike’s recycled surplus manufacturing materials and athletic footwear. Rubber, foam, fiber, leather and textile blends are separated and ground into a wide range of granules and reincorporated into performance products ranging from new Nike footwear and apparel to sports and play surfaces.
Zoom Air Unit in Sockliner - Nike Zoom cushioning is incredibly thin and brings the foot closer to the ground for enhanced stability, especially during quick cuts and multi-directional movements.
After impact, the tightly stretched fibers inside the pressurized air unit quickly bounce back into shape, providing a super-responsive feel and improved awareness of the surface you’re on.
Flyleather Upper - Nike Flyleather contains at least 50% recycled leather fiber for 100% performance. It's made through an innovative process that reduces carbon impact compared to traditional leather manufacturing. The result is a high-performance, engineered leather that's 40% lighter and five times more abrasion-resistant than full-grain leather.
