Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant compared to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forging also eliminates the most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.
Axle/Kingpin Style
Hollow Axle & Kingpin - Hollow axle trucks cut down on the materials used in the axle, so your trucks feel lighter. Hollow kingpins further reduce weight while still maintaining strength in this critical area.
Origin
Made in the USA - Made in San Francisco, California
Non-Compatible Risers
Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.
Note - Every skate truck brand represents their sizing a little differently, so it's easy to get confused. Take a look at this graphic and then reference the size chart.
Decided to widen up my trucks to match my wider boards. I was hesitant to go up from my 151’s to match a wider 9.0 deck because of weight and bulkiness of other experiences with big Indy’s. These are so light and turn so well with the blue bushings. They might be my favorite trucks ever.

Great

Recently switched from Indy to Thunder and although it has been challenging getting used to the height difference, the turning seems more responsive and the lock in for crooked grinds seem easier. The hollow lights are make flipping your board easy and the adjustment for the weight difference takes minimal time. Highly recommend these!

Thunder Trucks Hollow Lights Skateboard Trucks - night hollow lights ii (151)
No complaints at all, I got these because i owned Indy Titanium’s . The king pin stripped on those indys. Replace the Indy’s and the replacement pair did the same. Thunders are awesome!

I usually ride 8.25 but occasionally will step down to 8.1. Will the 147's work for me ??

The 147s would work fine or the 148s, the trucks would just stick out the smallest amount on each side with an 8.1.
