Baseplate Style

Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant compared to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forging also eliminates the most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.

Axle/Kingpin Style

Hollow Kingpin - Lightening the load, hollow kingpins reduce weight for lighter feeling trucks, while still maintaining strength in this critical area.

Non-Compatible Risers

Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.

Arbor, Diamond, Dooks, Girl, Independent, Loaded, Paris, Rayne, Sector 9

Thunder Trucks Lights Skateboard Trucks - foundry raw/green (147)
Liking them so far. They grind super well. I've been riding Indys until now but they stopped making their low trucks so this was a good alternative. I didn't like the bushings that it came with at first because it made the truck turn very weird. I flipped the bottom bushing around so that the cone part is at the top, and now they turn like my old Indys.

Thunder Trucks Lights Skateboard Trucks - electra strike (147)
The turning radius in these tricks are amazing. They respond well even when they are really tight.

Thunder Trucks Lights Skateboard Trucks - polished lights (147)
For me Thunder always makes the best trucks, you can put a new set on an old board and feel as if you’ve been skating them for a while

Thunder Trucks Lights Skateboard Trucks - 24k black chrome (149)
The only issue I have is the bushings in these ones are 0retty stiff and taking longer then usual to break in but no complaints other then that.

hi, will the thunder 151 (not the 149) will work on 8.5 deck
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 5/9/2018
Yes it will work however your trucks will be slightly wider than the width of your board.

Asked by Andreas on 5/3/2017
What wheel size you recommend ?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 5/3/2017
Wheel size would be personal preference but most people stick around 53-55mm wheels. If you go any large we would recommend a riser pad

Asked by Sands on 2/25/2017
It says "non-compatible risers" and under it says "girl" as one. Does this mean these trucks will not fit a "Girl" deck?
Answered by Danny M (Tactics Employee) on 2/27/2017
This just means that risers from those companies will not be compatible with those trucks. The trucks will work on a Girl deck, just not Girl risers.

I'm a long term Thunder lover, I'm after the lightest weight, low trucks you make for my 8 inch deck.
Answered by Elijah W (Tactics Employee) on 6/20/2016
Then your best bet is the Hollow Lights in the 145(lo)

Asked by Caleb on 5/22/2016
Will these fit on on drop through deck?
Answered by Elijah W (Tactics Employee) on 5/23/2016
These trucks are meant for a skateboard but can work with a drop through longboard if you would like.
