Overview

The top selling Spring Break Slush Slasher is a wide, little powder board that's perfect for jibbing around on spring days and hitting off-trail powder stashes. Built to be a bit shorter than your standard board, the Slush Slasher is easily maneuverable, making it preferable for tight and technical terrain. Hitting boxes and rails is a breeze thanks to the flat Party Profile with a rocker tip for float and an alloy skid plate on the back that actually sparks when you tail-tap a rail or kiss the edge of a jib. Because of this board's wide waist width and huge surface area, riders can step down from their normal board size without sacrificing stability and response so make sure to check the rider weight recommendations before deciding on board size.

Key Features

Party Profile - The Party Profile features an easy to ride zero camber mid-section with a kinked fat kick nose and a chilled out mellow tail. This allows the nose to rise above slush, pow, or chun-der as you lay care-free carves on your way down the hill.

Radial Sidecut - Radial sidecut is a single radius design causing your board to start and finish a turn on the same arc.

Core

FSC® Certified Select Core™ - The FSC® Certified Select Core™ is the original eco-friendly core. Its proven track record offers an environmentally conscious consumer a sustainable alternative without sacrificing any of the energy or stability expected from a CAPiTA. These cores have been reforestation certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for nature and habitat sustainability and made with a single species Poplar grain for a smooth, consistent ride. Extending from edge to edge and tip to tail the wood grain has no knots or finger joints enhancing response and providing a uniform flex pattern.

Spring Break Slush Slasher Core Profile
Laminates

Special Blend Fiberglass - The Special Blend Fiberglass configuration is an optimum blend of triaxial and biaxial glass weaves. The triax is placed on the topside maximizing torsional rigidity. The biaxial glass is situated underneath the core along with carbon enhancements to provide great longitudinal flex.

Alloy Skid Plate - Added protection to the tail and/or nose.

Base

XXX(TRUDED)™ Base - The XXX(TRUDED) base material takes the characteristics and manufacturing techniques used in creating normal extruded base material but due to higher pressure and temperature, the surface hardness is increased to levels near most sintered bases. This increases the durability and surface strength, creating a base that will last longer and be more durable when jibbing and ripping around the mountain.

Awards

Snowboard Magazine Natural Selection Powder Winner - This snowboard has been chosen by Snowboard Magazine as a Natural Selection Powder winner.

There's nothing better than riding powder. Except riding powder on a board exclusively made for it. Having a board tailored for pow will take your fun to the level. This is one such board.

Details

360° Steel Edges - CAPiTA uses a full wrap steel edge that goes all the way around the board to add bomber protection to the tips and tails from impact damage.

PLT Topsheet Technology - PLT Topsheet Technology adheres to the board without using toxic and heavy lacquer to maintain vibrant and rich graphics on the board.

2 Year Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for 2 years from the time of purchase. Warranty includes structural defects only and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear expected from aggressive riding.

Sorry folks, but bashing your board on a rock or rail does not qualify as a "manufacturer's defect" and will not be honored.

Magic Bean™ Resin - This resin system is poppy, powerful, and extremely durable. Magic Bean™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing CAPiTA to decrease the wood core thickness. With a focus on saving wood core weight by increasing resin performance you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return.

CAPiTA Spring Break Slush Slasher Snowboard
super floaty super fun super playful. Holds an edge incredibly well and its almost too stable for how small it is. rides switch surprisingly well and can handle just about anything in the park as well. i would 10/10 recommend this board to anyone looking for something to add to their quiver, although i wouldnt recommend it to be your daily driver.

How will this do in deep powder
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 1/3/2018
This is definitely a great powder board, and should hold up well on a deeper powder day.
