Leonard McGurr, aka Futura, is one of New York City's legendary artists whose creative vision continually evolves and influences across various mediums and genres. Centered around his iconic hand style, his work defies categorization despite his status as one of graffiti’s most renowned pioneers. From gaining fame on subway cars decades ago to showcasing his pieces in prestigious galleries and museums today, Futura reimagines space with bold use of color, characters, and typography.

The stylish design incorporates graphic elements from Futura’s paintings onto the Dunk’s silhouette. Featuring a bleached canvas backdrop, the shoe is adorned with detailed and colorful overlays, puff-print accents, custom tongue labels, insole art, and a translucent sole showcasing Futura’s iconic signature. Additional features include contrast stitching and two-toned pastel laces. The Futura Laboratories Dunk also brings back the original Dunk SB Low side-toe construction, highlighting Futura's long-standing relationship with Nike SB.
