All Mountain
Versatile boards, ideal for riding all conditions across the entire mountain
Fun, playful ride that’s easy to use and floats in powder
Freestyle focused shape that rides identical both directions
Forgiving flex that’s maneuverable at slower speeds

Learning how to ride has never been easier. The Banana Blaster is suitable for 1st day riders to AM comp. riders like Kai Huggin. This is truly an all mountain board able to float in deep powder, cuts easily through crusty groomers with the help of serrated edges and definitely kills it in the half-pipe thanks to the original banana tech profile that is predominantly rocker, but has camber underfoot for added pop. Oh, and it's really jibby too, so jib away. With the purchase of this board, you'll also be supporting the most environmentally friendly snowboard company out there which will help your kid develop pride in helping preserve the winters for their future. But we know, nothing speaks louder than your kid's smile...this board will put a HUGE smile on their face.

Maybe for now their sponsorship will read, "Mom + Dad", but one day they could be adding a lot more to that portion of their profile. This board is really the ticket to the entire mountain. Whether your kid is trying to graduate ski school early, or has a few seasons of shredding under their belt, this is the vehicle of choice because it really does have all the tech, like Magne-Traction serated edges and bi-axial fiberglass for control at speed from the adult sized boards, just sized down for pint-sized rippers.

Key Features

BTX Banana Rocker Profile - Mervin's revolutionary original all terrain freestyle banana blend. Rocker between your feet blended with flat-to-mild camber to contact points. Focuses pressure between your feet for easy turns, great edge hold on ice and a mild amount of pressure to the tip and tail for excellent float and catch-free freestyle.

Magne-Traction Serrated Edges - Award-winning Magne-Traction features strategically placed bumps that create seven contact points along each side of your sidecut. This increases edge hold and allows for knife-like carves without the hook. Magne-Traction is a perfect complement to Banana Rocker and helps increase grip and control.

Original Power Construction (OP) - Light, environmentally nice, and strong, the Original Power (OP) construction is used on more Lib boards than any other construction. Renewable core woods keep it light and eco-friendly while ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) material is used in the sidewalls as well as the tip and tail to deflect impacts and make your ride noticeably smoother.

Handbuilt in the USA - Every Lib Tech board is handmade by snowboarders with jobs in the USA.

Aspen Wood - Light, strong, lively, fast growing, heat treated for maximum pop and long life.

Columbian Gold Wood - A lightweight, renewable wood core with loads of pop! This core provides increased response for precise turns when carving.

Paulownia Wood - Ultra light, strong, long lively fibers.

Birch Internal Sidewalls - Rugged, lightweight, vertical end grain Birch internal sidewalls add pop and durability where you need it when things get hard.

Bi-axial Fiberglass - This 2-way fiber orientation is engineered to increase snap and decrease chatter.

Co-Extruded - Layered extruded base material adds durability and lengthens the life of your board. Easier to do repairs on than a sintered base and retaining wax longer, extruded bases are great for those who don't want to wax as often.

Eco-Sub PBT Top Sheet - Sounds technical right? It just means the top sheet is made from sublimated polyester material that's great for vibrant yet durable graphics, which means a long lasting image. When the graphics are as good as Gnu's you'll be glad you have it.

UHMW Sintered Sidewalls - A Lib Tech innovation that is twice as sintered as most industry sidewalls. This ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) material increases durability, response and control for easier riding.

Mervin Made: EnvironMENTAL Construction - All Lib Tech snowboards are handcrafted by Mervin Manufacturing in the USA near Canada!

Mervin has been environmentally aware from the beginning - 25+ years!

No cancer-causing toxic automotive lacquer clearcoats.

Soy-based elastomer sidewalls instead of toxic ABS.

Made using renewable forest products for all snowboard cores. Fast growing trees have long fibers and natural pop. Wood is nature's fiberglass!

Made with only low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) epoxy resin systems. Mervin's resin doesn't stink or make you dizzy.

Mervin uses water-cleansed grinding systems to minimize airborne particulate levels.

The Mervin Factory has 2700% air replacement ventilation systems.

All wood sawdust is recycled as soil additive, plus scrap wood is donated to a local Mood Wood company that packages it as kindling and resells it.

All scrap plastics (base cutouts, etc) are recycled and then reground to make new materials.

Water-based solvents used for cleansing (instead of petrochemical-based solvents).

Canola-based biodiesel heats the Mervin factory and is a renewable resource.

1 Year Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for 1 year from the time of purchase. Warranty includes structural defects only and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear expected from aggressive riding.

Sorry folks, but bashing your board on a rock or rail does not qualify as a "manufacturer's defect" and will not be honored.
