Overview

No gimmicks or fluff here, just raw, functional skateboard bearings from Bronson. The Raw Bearings come shield-free, eliminating dirt/gunk buildup under the shield and allowing easy access for cleaning the inner parts as and when needed. The races (the metal rings) have a micro-thin tungsten lubricant coating keeping the bearings rolling smoother for longer.

Deep Groove Raceways - Balls sit and roll deeper in the raceway channels than weaker shallow groove designs.

Reduces axial and angular side impact damage and breakage, surfaces stay smooth and fast.

Micro-Groove Raceway Surfaces - Self-smoothing microscopic linear grooved raceway surfaces improve bearing lubrication and spin.

The micro grooves increase spin by eliminating the standing wave of lubricant just in front of the rolling ball.

Max Impact Cage Design - Strong, non-distortion glass filled nylon cage keep the balls precision spaced and oil circulating.

Ball cage socket surfaces engineered to hold oil and provide continuous ball lubrication.

High Speed Ceramic Oil - Oil is blended with nano-ceramic compounds for anti-wear protection for longer lasting bearings and improved speed.

Light and smooth- with additives that resist rust, moisture, corrosion and oxidation for prolonged oil life.

Hand Inspected for Quality - 100% hand inspected twice and micro-polished and ultrasonic solvent washed 3X prior to final lubrication.

Packaged in nitrogen filled shrink-wrap - reduces metal and oil oxidation until ready to be ridden.

Bronson Speed Co. Raw Skateboard Bearings - black
I own 2 sets of these on both my boards. I have them on my old school set up, and on my regular set up. They have not ceased up, no rust, sound amazing, fast, and very reliable. If you don’t own these I don’t know what your waiting for. BUY THEM!

Bronson Speed Co. Raw Skateboard Bearings
I've tried an un-godly amount of different bearings throughout my time skating. Most of them have been bones. I tried bones red, super reds, and big balls. Recently, I've decided to go with the raws, and I wasnt dissapointed. At first they seemed to almost be unbelieveably fast (as in actually skating not a hand spin test) eventually, after a couple skating sessions of skating street, 2 of my wheels became much slower, but then I decided to just keep skating, and it just sorted itself out! The open bearing technology seems to be working so far. Believe it or not these are worth the money! If I had to choose another cheaper set, I'd say bones big balls, skip reds and super reds. Reds and super reds seem to rust from literally moisture in the air within a month (not the big balls though).

Bronson Speed Co. Raw Skateboard Bearings
i’ve been skateboarding with these bearings for almost 2 years (not the raw opened one) still the bearings are amazing. i do recommend if you skateboard everyday or every other day that you use DW-40 or WD-40 (whatever it’s called it’s in a navy blue bottle) alt least every 4 or 5 months just to get rid of the black dirt off the outside and clean the inside up. you will notice a lot of dirt comes out.

Asked by Claire on 2/20/2019
Do these bearings need any upkeep, lubricant etc?
Answered by Jeremy K (Tactics Employee) on 2/20/2019
Typically all bearings need some basic cleaning and lubrication if you want them to last longer. It comes down to personal preference. Since theses do not have the shields like other bearings, they are less likely to need more maintenance.

Asked by Cheetah Chrome on 12/13/2017
what is the real difference between the "G3" Bronson bearing and the "RAW" shieldless Bronson bearing?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 12/14/2017
These are a the essentially the G3 Bronson bearing that does not have the shield on the bearings. Some people prefer to take the shields off their bearing so they don't get clogged up and they some people prefer the louder noise as well.

Asked by Yaro on 5/22/2017
Doesn't it make it easier for the dirt and rain to get in the bearing ?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 5/24/2017
Without the shield it makes it easier for dirt to escape that does get in to your bearing, apposed to getting stuck in there forever behind the shield. Some people think it helps and some people think it makes it worse.
