Cloud Ride's Abec 7 bearings are pre-lubricated with Lightning Oil to keep you rolling lightning fast.

  • Set of 8 Bearings
  • ABEC 7
  • Double Sealed
  • Nylon Retainer
  • Lightning Oil Lubricant
  • Chrome Steele

ABEC 7 - The ABEC scale is essentially a measurement of bearing tolerance for high precision bearings as dictated by the Annular Bearing Engineering Committee (ABEC). The scale runs from ABEC 1 through ABEC 9 using odd integers only. Essentially, the higher up on the scale a bearing is rated the tighter the tolerance is.

Tighter bearing tolerance means that the bearing moves with less resistance at high speeds, giving you a bit more roll for your push. In general most ABEC 3 or ABEC 5 bearings have steel races (shell of the bearing) with hardened steel ball bearings, and most ABEC 7 or ABEC 9 bearings feature steel races with super hard (much harder than steel) ceramic or titanium bearings.

I was stunned at how smooth, quiet and fast these are for the money. You'd have to pay a great deal more to get better.

The cloud ride bearings are definitely an upgrade on my kryptonics skateboard which cane with abec 3 bearings which made a rattling sound.

Asked by Patrick on 3/6/2017
What is the length and diameter etc
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 3/8/2017
The most common bearing size is the “608.” Characterized by an 8mm core, a 22mm outer diameter and a 7mm width, these bearings are the industry standard and match up with nearly every skate wheel out there.
