Traditional 7-Ply - Traditional for a reason. Standard 7-ply wood construction gives you a deck that's durable, sturdy and poppy without breaking the bank.

Flip Mountain Kaja 8.75 Skateboard Deck
If you live anywhere near smooth poured concrete or care about the history of skateboarding and old-meets-new shapes, you definitely should try this deck! Since it's not a full-on, 9+" wide, flat nose kick, bowl troll shape, it actually rides the whole park really well too. The nose and tail kicks seem like they have the same angle: medium to medium-mellow steepness, and definitely feel more modern than retro. The nose is just under 6.75 and the tail is just over 6.75. But since the shape tapers toward the tail, and since the nose has much more area, it somehow feels like the nose is the longer end, like a modern board. The wider front half of the board makes the concave feel deeper there, and combined with the shorter wheelbase (just under 14.25), there's a cool locked-in, "forward" feeling at your front foot. not dramatic, but enough to feel different and really fun. Even though the wide point is 8.75, you don't need old school trucks. Indy 159s work perfect!
